Railfans – don’t skip this. Marceline’s ATSF – Sand Chute facility is a rare survivor from the steam era. Located southwest of the depot area, the site includes a separate round sand tower – a striking industrial landmark. It’s one of those “you won’t see this everywhere” piece of Marceline’s railroad.
